Had an allergic reation

to the adhesive they use under the strips, thought I would lose my mind with all the itching...... was put on steriods and a cream to help with the itching, seems to have done the trick, hope everyone had a great Christmas, my oldest grandson has been staying with us during his Christmas break he keeps me pretty busy, going to the Omniplex friday he goes back to school next week and I'll be able to get back on my schedule, seems the older I get the more I need a schedule. LOL!!! Nana

Is your grandson in cub scouts??  My DH and son are going to am overnight on friday at the omniplex.  Sorry to hear about your reaction.  Glad to hear it is passing though.

I had the same reaction to the adhesive....YUCKY!!! I really feel for you!  I promise the itching will stop soon!

A cream called Velvacol works wonders. We use it on our post-op C-section patients that have reactions.  Tressa

I'm allergic to all tape except paper which won't stick and whatever they put on my iv line. I feel your "pain."
