Xpost: My granny is going home

She's been by my side since December 4th.  I don't think I could have done this without her given how little my youngest children are.  She's helped with the kids and the housework and in general made my life easier.   I've had my moments when I was soooo ready for her to go home, just because being watched and treated like an invalid can get pretty old.  BUT I really can't imagine having done this with out her.  I'm going to miss her.   I've been doing everything around the house pretty much for the last week though, so I know I can handle it.   I don't know how my girls are going to react when there's one less lap to climb into around here.  They're really attached to her.   So...I don't know if I should be thrilled to have my privacy and independence back or sad and worried to not have her here anymore.   God knows my house won't be as clean without her.  *L*

You are so lucky to have your granny with you to help out.  Remember to keep in the YOU time no matter what-that is essential.  You cannot be good to others if you are not good to yourself.

Thanks ladies!  I do miss granny a bit, but so far the house is still running.  I have noticed my twins act out a bit more though.  Grannies tend to have that effect on kiddos.  Discipline goes right out the window the instant a granny walks into the house.  *LOL* My husband and son stepped up to help me clean today.  It was awesome! Dh let me sleep in and then take the time to color my hair this morning.  He took care of the kiddos and breakfast while I did.   I'm very blessed!
