I'm back home and feeling pretty good!

Diana!  I am so glad you are doing well!  I hope your stay at FBH was wonderful!  I was up Wednesday evening to see Russell and he did so well they bounced him Thursday afternoon!  If you are feeling up to it, don't forget there is a support group meeting next Thursday! Sippppppppppy sippppppppy girl! Way to go!!   Ruth

Is Russell the #1 patient? I was his competition but I didn't get bounced early...darn it! I tried though.  I was walking 20 hospital laps the day after surgery! Feeling pretty good just cranky and that is so not me so that is going to be the hard part. Thanks and now... sippy sippy! Diana

Diana: Russell had his surgery the day before you and was in #2.  He was a miracle patient!  Up and about quickly and happy too!  He bounced early and he called me on Friday when he reached his house up near Slapout.  It took them 6 hours because of the near blizzard conditions!!  OUCH!  I told him to do NOTHING the rest of the day, take his meds (whether he needed them or not!) and rest!!  I am going to call him this eveing to check on him! I am glad you are doing well!  I understand the grouch thing.  I was tired of being poked and prodded and was missing the feel of food.  But - it is all worth it in the end!  You know that!!   Hang in there and if you need ANYTHING you call on me!  I hope you are feeling up to support group on Thursday and if not, don't pu****!   Lots of love!! Congratulations and thanks for the info on Russell.  You will feel even better as time goes on. Rest all that you can.  I had my surgery on Oct. 18 and was bounced on Oct. 19. I have lost 51 pounds since surgery with a total of 81 since I began my journey. It's nice that my stamina has finally come back!
