Okay - I ate like a little piggy the last few days - it seems everything I saw went into my mouth.  I was getting frustrated, but couldn't stop!!  I wasn't getting full - even though I should have been yacking my brains out from all the stuff!!  So I also felt like the pounds were just piling on - I step on the scales (the evil thing!) and what the heck??  I lost 4 pounds!!  I'm not knocking the weight loss, just can't figure out WHY!!!!  I had been stuck for a couple of weeks, which isn't unusual in itself, but it just doesn't make any sense!!  I wasn't getting in my liquids either so increasing my liquid wasn't the cause either!   I know I need to see my dietitian, but geez, what I do I say!!  I stuffed myself and still lost??  And I am the worlds worst at journaling, even though I know it is important.  My dietitian knows this too but I haven't been able to change my habits!!  Any ideas? I dont know why it happened . I am not sure what your normal diet consist of. if it is mostly proteins and low carb/ veggies etc then I can tell you this. I ate this way in the past for two years almost.  to lose weight and everytime I got on a plateu if I "pigged out" for a couple of days on stuff I wouldnt normally eat then I would break the plateu and lose a few pounds. now I am not condoning this because who knows why it worked for me because I know for others it did not work. and some people would not only stay plateud but would end up gaining. I think that everyones body is different and for some reason some individuals react this way to things like that.  however this did cause me to start "pigging out" more and more because the lower weight I got the slower the weight came off and then eventually it turned into me eating junk all the time because thats what I started craving again. and alas here I am  a few years later and Ive gained back all the weight plus some.

Purple: Thanks for your insight.  The thing is I know I have to stop and sometimes I just can't.  A visit to the psychologist and the dietitian is required to get me back on schedule and I will make those appointments asap.  I certainly understand the possibilities of putting the weight back on and it scares the bejesus out of me!!  That alone should stop me, but old habits still exist and I have got to come to terms with them.  Luckily I am part of a program that keeps great tabs on us and I have a ton of support at my fingertips.  Including all of you guys here!  I have done better today and some of the issue may be that I was home and had it all at my fingertips!  It is better when I am at work and I am limited in my access!  Maybe I just need to work more!  HAHA!  Yet another issue! Hang in there Ruth.  Scheduling visits with psych and dietician should get you back on track.  Kudos to you for doing that before the scale starts going up.
