My newest WLS buddy Russell is having his surgery right about now at Weightwise in Edmond. Please pray for him and his journey! I met Russell earlier this month at our support group and he has one of the most positive attitudes about his journey that I have ever seen! Thanks!! Update on Russell: I visited Russell this evening at the hospital. The brat was out of post op by 11am and already up and in a chair by 1pm. He is doing great and I had to remind him to take it easy and don't be a hero! Thank you to all who thought of him today! Ruth

I saw him as he was exiting the hospital and had already been able to drink 64 ounces which I am still struggling to do. Please keep us updated on his progress, and I look forward to possibly meeting you "live" at Dr. Walton's office.
