I am only 6 days post op with lapband. Yesterday, I got my protein in but I don't like it. I almost froze a lemon beverage meal replacement with a small amount of yogurt in it. I've had sugar free jello with about 2 tablespoon FF-SF cool whip. I also ate a small amount of strained low fat mushroom soup with 1% milk to thin it. Because it is cold outside I drink it warm in a cup. Today I did the same with Tomato Soup. Just having something like that inbetween can help me gag down the other. LOL I did liquids plus some chicken, fish for 7 day before surgery and for 3 days liquids before also. Now I have to stay on protein meal liquids & supplements, SF jello, non-fruit LF_SF yogurt, LF strained soup, etc. for 2 wks. I have heard my tummy rumble more in the last 16 days than I have ever done in my life.LOL I drink decaf tea and water with a little lemon in it. I really don't like the sugary drinks. I don't know if this will help.
