Remember to ask your surgeon/nutritionist...

I just want to remind all of you that if you have questions on what you can eat at whatever stage you are in with your surgery...please remember to ask your surgeon/nutritionist.  You've come to far to take a chance at messing up your pouch, tearing stitches, etc.  Your pouch is your baby...especially in the beginning phase...you need to treat it as such and be careful.  I know for most, our surgery is a last effort on losing weight and we don't want to mess anything up. So, please be cautious. With love, Tonja

Also adding: get very specific insturctions about adding back foods-it's not really liquids one day and everything on the list the next day.  (I see a lot of posts on the main board from people who get in trouble with that one).

Thats good advice gals.  One of the reasons I want to have surgery near the first of the year is so I have time to heal and be ready for X-Mas next year.  Not being able to eat at least a tiny bit of the family recipe spagetti (even if its just some of the sauce) just wouldnt be X-Mas.
