New Member anyone use Dr. Gornichec

I had stomach stapling in 1982. And have gained all my weight back plus some. I had developed high blood pressure in the last month and am being treated for it with 4 different meds. I did lose 3 lbs last week and my doc. was happy. He said it was time to get help and look into a revision .So I finally  made the phone call to DR. Gorrnichec. I am very scared for some reason, I did`nt have this fear in 82 , just jumped at the chance without a second thought.Maybe its my age,or listening to everyone telling me how dangerous it it . All I know is I`m ready to get the weight off and enjoy our retirement years, and of course my grandchildren . i pray I make the right decision. Please include me in your prayers. Granideb

I wish you luck  Yes I use Dr. G  He is wonderful,  Very Hard Core and to the point and is there for you each step of the way but you do it his way, and he means it,  but I think thats what most of us need.  He is also very good looking and built to kill Blessings sandy c

Dr. Gornichec is my doctor and i would highly recommend him to anyone.  As Sandy said he is  very hard core , but he wants you to succeed.  It doesnt help that he is not hard on the eyes !!  If you do everything he says you will be just fine , i have all the faith in the world in him . Luanne

Hi. I am a Granny Deb, too. I have RNY surgery scheduled for 12/31. I think I understand your angst. I am having good days and bad days. No, let that be good minutes and bad minutes I think it is just the natural angst of having any surgery. I am doing the pre-op diet relatively easily. I have plenty of support at work and with my family. But I am with you. I hope I have made the right decision......
