Might have figured it out...

Taylen and I went to the doctor today.  I've felt like I had strep throat...no strep.  That's good! The doc looked in my right ear and she said she couldn't tell much because I had wax in my ear - so we washed it out.  Guess what...I have a major, major ear infection.  Z pack for me.  But, here's the catcher - this could be what is making my neck stiff.  I went through the dizziness and then it went away after antibiotics.  BUT...the stiff neck never went away.  So, I pray that this is the answer to the stiff neck... I hope that works out for you!  Ears are connected to the lymph nodes which can make your neck feel stiff-maybe that's the key to getting a limber neck again.

Tonja I can answer this being a life long member of the bad hearing society.  I have horrible ear wax buildup and have to have them irrigated a couple of times a year or I will get infections, headaches, and stiffness in my neck and jaw.  I will say this, those home kits you can buy with the little blue sqwirty thingie and the ear drops.......WORTHLESS. Hope it gets better, in the meantime hit your hubby up for some massages, hehehe.

Well I hope this is the answer to your stiff neck. My dizzyness and passing out stopped as soon as I got off of Atenolol. I went ahead and did the MRI yesterday just to make sure everything is ok. But I feel like a new person.  Tressa
