Well your family was either harmlessly joking or they need to have their heads checked for being goofy.  I think anyone who has or is taking the steps to better their life by having WLS is far from insane.  What is insane is continuing to not live life to its fullest.  God Bless you girl and best of luck, you are on your way.

awwwwwww you all are so sweet... lol...  if ya all knew me  you would know I am a little.. ummmmm excentric..... compared to the rest of the family.. but hey thats what makes me so special.. friends and family know they can get the truth from me even if its not what they want to hear...lol..and usually they dont want to hear it.... but I tell ya anyway.. I can tell ya that i love you in one breath and five seconds later tell you ur bum looks huge in that skirt!.. hey I dont want to go to town with you and you look like a fool! people tell me i am crazy.. or I have huge kahoonas... I checked.. no kahoonas.....lol... its a family joke.. but the phyc told me that I was not only sane but well balanced and in tune with myself.. that sounds good to me....

Like you, I just "passed" my psych eval.  I saw Dr. Ivy yesterday.  Does anyone see him on a regular basis?  Just wondering.  He seems like a nice guy.  So, Sherrie....I guess we're at the same point in this process. I also got my labs done yesterday (VERY productive day).  Now, I'm waiting on my appt with Dr. Gornichec. I hope everyone is doing fine.  I'm at home today (no school for us all week), getting ready for the snow. Take care, Sharon
