feelin good

I am feeling so good today I am going to the gym with my brother for a short spin on the treadmill.  Today is the first day I feel like i have an appetite, boy yestyerday was rough , nothing sounded good and i just felt a little down , its great what a good nights sleep can do .  I wanted to thank you all for your support and suggestions during this time , it has helped me alot to read and learn!! Glad to hear you are feeling better today.  It will be like that for awhile-recovery from the surgery isn't a straightline-you'll have tired days and energy days....

I am so happy for you - you are getting around better than I did.  I just started walking this past Monday with a neighbor friend early in the morning, each day gets better, we go a little further.  You will have days like that when nothing sounds good, my head hunger is driving me crazy sometimes, such as last night, I wanted a meximelt from Taco Bell, thought I could eat it, well duh, of course not, it has hamburger in it. So I got a chicken quesadilla - ate little less than half of it.  Went to Subway today and got a kids meal, ate turkey and cheese off it and was stuffed.  Good luck at the doctors appointment this week, they just took my vitals no blood work, guess that will be my 6 week checkup.  Saw Dr. G and he checked my incisions and asked me if I had any questions.  That was it.   Take care, looks like it's going to be another beautiful day.  REJOICE, we are both on the losers bench, 35 pounds loss for me, went to church this morning first time I have went back since surgery, had many compliments, felt great.  Well, gotta run, doing laundry, laundry and more laundry today, lol.  Talk to you soon. YOu go girl! I think I am doing great just by being able to drive! Its amazing how we feel after surgery! Wish I had a treadmill to use..maybe will join the ywca next week could use the motivation...walking here is kinda rough cause of the cars pulling in and out. How much have you lost since surgery?
