Surgery date scheduled...my first post
Hello everyone, I'm new here but been here researching. I've received my surgery date from Dr. Gornichec, 11/27. Excited but scared.
The Dr. suggested I have a filter put in prior to surgery to reduce blood clot chances. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that had this done as to pain, discomfort, etc.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about the filter either.
I'm Dot, married to Josh, mom of 2 girls and live in Bartlesville. I'm still going through all the tests I have to have done before I even get my first consult with the surgeon!
I had the cardio stress test today and echo. I'll give details later.
