Feeling yuckie???  I personally haven't had vertigo except for the occational ear infection.  I worked with a guy at the Post Office that developed it and his was so severe he couldn't carry the mail anymore until he had a nerve ?? or something "clipped" inside of his ear and now he is working again.....

I have this all the time - but yesterday when I was at Target it seemed like I was walking around hoping I wasn't going to fall down.  It's a really strange feeling and I'm guessing it's vertigo. T

This is how my episodes started. How is your blood pressure? Tressa

Check your blood pressure and your inner ear.   Didn't you have a sinus infection not too long ago?  Actually I had blood pressure medicine once that GAVE me vertigo-if I was standing up it usually wasn't bad, but lying down the room would spin out of control-not the best feeling in the world.  If you still have fluid in your inner ear, that can cause it (I'm going back to the sinus thing).  Another time I had it was on a long bike ride when I ran out of water-so make sure you are hydrated. I know you've had a really busy time lately, and I wonder if you've been slipping up on some health care issues (like water, etc.)  Maybe Satuday should just be a TONJA day at the seminar-all about YOU and YOUR health.

Tonja, just a guess - but you may want to check your sugar levels.  I read something about fainting and sugars too low on the main board.... just a thought.

Well, I've been getting my water in 100%.  My blood pressure seems fine.  I don't have a head cold or anything, but did not that long ago.  BUT, I've had vertigo since we moved to Edmond (2 years ago) - and it's getting worse. So, I've got a dr. appt at 10:30.  Maybe they will be able to help me. Every day is a Tonja day for me!  I'll keep you all posted on what I find out. T

Okay - had my appt.  My blood pressure was 116/72 - so that was good. Two possibilities: I go to a cardiologist tomorrow.  He was listening to my heart and all of a sudden pulled down the neck of my shirt and says "have you had heart surgery"?  I said "no and why".  He said my heart is making a clicking noise.  HHHMMMM The other thing is that it is my thyroid.  Did lots of blood work - so we'll see. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks for all the wonderful thoughts and prayers! Love you all! Tonja
