HAPPY, HAPPY DAY

Have only posted once....a question.  The question....which surgery should I have kind of question.  I have finally decided on the lap band and my mind is made up!  What a challenge that was for my overworked brain!!! Just wanted to celebrate a little!! Friday is my final weigh in during my 3 month supervised diet and exercise program and then we will submit paperwork to the insurance. Dr. B wanted me to lose 30 pounds before surgery.  I thought the man was crazy!  I thought if I do it the insurance will deny me saying I could manage on my own without surgery. BUT GUESS WHAT....I DID IT!!!!!!!! My scales area little nicer to me than Dr. B's so I need to lose an extra couple BUT I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY AND PROUD OF MYSELF AND ALL MY HARD WORK!!!!!!!!! I know you guys LOVE good news on the boards so I HAD to share it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for bragging!!! OK maybe not really!!! D

Awesome and you've got a head start on healthy habit now.  It's all good!

Good for you!  I'm afraid to lose weight too for fear that the insurance co. will say I no longer need the surgery!   I'm glad it's happening for you! Dot*

you should brag about every pound you lose , it is an accomplishment !! good for you !!!!!
