Wow!  Thanks so much for the info. I'd love to go, I'm trying to get as much education on the surgery as I can and this looks great.

Ok, I just signed up, so I'll be there too.

Would like to attend, but can't afford the $50 fee.  It sounds like a fun time of learning.  Maybe those that do go would share some of what they learned for those of us who can't make it.

I promise I will!

It's just two days away!

I'm getting really excited, I'm glad I decided to go, especially in light of this cow/dairy/beef thing I have going on.  It adds a whole nother level to eating "rules" and I've just got to suck it up and learn to live with it. One of the first things I've done is stock up on protein sources other than cow-I can eat sheeps yogurt, etc. and goat cheese etc.  I hope to find some low cost things that I can use as well.  (Beans and eggs.....Salmon isn't that low cost but the band's quantities have helped make it all affordable.) I'm also looking forward to meeting more Okies!

It was Awesome!!!!  I've got lots of info for everyone that will be attending support group! All I can say is ... those who didn't attend missed a lot of really useful information - and a great time. Tonja

They are planning another one in May and I will be going then too.
