Is Anyone Going...

On November 17th there is a WLS Expo at the Biltmore Hotel in OKC.  I'm all about getting as educated as I possibly can and here is an opportunity! I've thrown it around for awhile, but given my new job, I don't think I'm going to be able to pull it off. There are components of it that I really think I would benefit from, though. Cathy

I have never heard of it.  I have an early day tomorrow, so I need to be getting to bed, but I'll check out the link tomorrow after I get home from my cardio appt. I don't know my way around OKC, I've NEVER driven in OKC, I'm weird about driving in strange places and I'm HORRIBLE with maps, and I have no sense of direction. I'm trying to get past all of that though! I went to Tulsa yesterday to scope out where I'm going to go tomorrow for that cardiology appt. and then I got a call from them TODAY and it appears I scoped out the WRONG place!!  They have two offices and I didn't know about the South one!  UGH So, I have to get Miranda ready for school, take her to before school care (7:15) and drive to Tulsa, go to this dr. office I don't even know where it is at and be there by 8:45 in the morning!  lol Wish me luck!

DJ - I can give you excellent directions on how to get here and we can meet up and enjoy the day together.  I tell ya - when you are going through the beginning stages and you are ready to pull your hair out too - this is the greatest way to help relieve the stress.  This seminar will help remind you of why you are having the surgery done in the first place and I know from the sounds of each 'lecture' that they are going to give - it will really benefit all of us - pre-op, post-op - and those that are in the very beginning process and those of us that are 'ole timers'. So, I promise you - it will be a great time and I'd love for you to meet up with me so we could go together.  Matter of fact, if you would like to come down the night before, you could just spend the night with me and we could go from there. I mapquested the directions...  I'm really tempted to go...  Let me talk to hubby about it.  I know he has a business trip next week and will be gone for the week, so hopefully he won't have plans for the weekend prior. I do think I would like to go...

Darn it!!  I'm not going to get to go.  I just remembered Serena has a play that night!  She's one of only 4 freshmen who got a part in Mac Beth!!  They are having shows on the 15th and 17th.  Dh will be out of town on the 15th one, so we'll go to the 17th one. UGH!!! It seems like I NEVER have plans until something comes up and then I remember I have other plans!  Why does everything always happen at the same times?
