Hi all Well I went to see Dr Warnock and as I knew He put me on his time out program. I have to do 2 weeks of Isopure 3x a day and water, and crystal lite. Still don't know what caused the pain in tummy. He did't do any labs which I thought he would do. He said he would do them in a month. I have to weigh myself everyday and write it down and bring it to him on my next appointment. I gained 50 pounds since I last saw him two years ago.  I have to prepare for this and hope I can afford to do the 3 Isopure drinks. I can get them at the commissary for 2.29 each but that adds up fast since I'm not working.Hope to start this tomorrow so will need everyones support to make it through this. I didn't have to do a two week before surgery so this will be hard. This is what happens when you don't have support and think you are doing things right. So I hope that you will all continue to come to the boards for support even after you reach your goal because the hard part is after the weight comes off in keeping it of. I have to tell myself I am not a failure and I can do this again. I did it once. Debra

Wow, that's tough-that's like 600 calories a day.  DANG, talk about a time out! Well, the good news is it's only for 2 weeks and you did it even though it was tough to do.  I think we are all fabulous at losing weight it's keeping it off that we are not so good at.  WE shall over come! As for the cost of the drinks, each one is cheaper than a fast food meal (my former bugaboo) and much healthier.  You are in my prayers.

Thanks for your prayers and support. I know I will need it for the first two weeks and then after that I call him and I believe you get to add a salad, don't know for sure on that but read about it on the grad board. Have to go stock up on my drinking supplies so thanks again. Debra

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm fairly new around here... What is the purpose of the "time out"??  Is it not only to get you started losing again, but to get you used to eating smaller portions also? Thanks for explaning. Dot*

I think the purpose is to cleanse your body of  bad carbs and to get you back to basics. I was one of those that never really dumped on anything so got back to eating the wrong foods again. If you follow your Dr. and don't test the waters to see if you can eat it you will be better off. Debra
