The rock is rolling!

So I had my final visit with my pcp on Friday.  I was so afraid it would take them forever to fax my records to Dr. Keith, or they would lose them.  I just knew something would go wrong, as I've read so many horror stories!  Well, Corie called me today, and let me know that she received it all yesterday, and will send it to Aetna!!  Now its just waiting for Aetna to say yes!  I'm so excited, this has been the longest 6 months of my life.  I have fulfilled all of the pre-req's they gave me, and have a great recommendation from my PCP.  He is very supportive which helps.

That is great.  Sounds like you are on your way.  I'm in the losing weight phase before surgery and doing all of the pre-op tests such as psych eval, nutritionist, stress test, etc.  Most of the tests are this Friday and the stress test next week.  I'm getting more and more excited to get the lap band surgery.  Hope Aetna gives you a quick yes soon.

Shan-you may be a novembster.  That's so great.  Wynotha, you'll be shortly thereafter.  I hope you are both very proud of what you've ALREADY accomplished.
