Is Halloween an eating issue for you this year? So far, it hasn't been for me-I bought fruit rollups and granola bars to pass out and I really haven't been too tempted. All that is subject to change when the magic words CLEARANCE SALE are posted. Don't you wish cheap candy had no calories?
But it does, and just because it's wrapped in orange paper doesn't make it taste any better, etc. Of course, there are little landmines of chocolate all over the place right now-be strong people!
Kids can eat all they want on Halloween night. No limits.
The rest they sell to me for ten cents a piece (usually about 150 - 200 pieces, so they make $10 - $15 bucks each).
I take the candy to work and give it to my co-workers.
I like getting rid of the candy. Kids like the cash. Co-workers like eating the candy.

No problems this year. I haven't bought any because we will be in church tomorrow night during the trick or treat time. I usually buy some for the kids and take the remaining candy to work or really double up on the late treaters so they usually make a haul and I get rid of it so that I'm not tempted.

I just cracked up at the noon news-they were saying "Let your kids have 5 pieces of candy Halloween night, and then two to three pieces every other day...."
Now, I know it's good advice, but I was remembering when I was a kid-we'd walk half the night and eat candy all night long while we walked, then when we got home....in the morning....those were the days.
absolutely no Halloween candy for me , this year , i made treat bags over the weekend for my kids at school and sealed them tight since i knew i would be able to have any ,, and i told the parents ,,,no candy for the teacher pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!! I do love Halloween though , i love to decorate and dress up ,,,hmm next year i might have a skinny sexy number of a costume
