Closer to a surgery date
Hi everyone. I went to Weigh****chers this morning and I have lost 4.8 pounds toward the 35 I have to lose before I get a surgery date. I was really surprised but the Geocaching hike last Sunday and a couple of walks last week with my husband really paid off this week. Can't wait for next Saturday's weigh in.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Thank you Deb. I'm hoping to be close to 25 pounds remaining after next Saturday. Next Friday I have my upper GI, psych eval, nutritionist, and exercise physiologist appoints. I full day of it all done at WeightWise which is so handy instead of running around trying to get appointments with other medical people. That is one reason I chose Foundations Bariatric Hospital. I'm getting even more excited. With all of this going on, I also have two upcoming interview for different positions within DHS. I'm really excited about the possibility of a change and a challenge.
Have a great weekend.

Congrats, Wynotha! I'm so proud of you for your weightloss.
Geocaching was fun, wasn't it? We should try to get out and do that again sometime....while it's still nice outside. Maybe next time we can hit that park in Moore...I forget what it's called, but it's a good one...Lyon something or other?
Anyway, keep up the good work! And be sure and tell that cute nurse, Colin, that I said 'hi' when you go in for your surgery.
Cathy
Thanks Cathy. Yes, I really enjoyed last Sunday. I will be at WeightWise next Friday and if I see him, I will tell him hi for you.
Are you referring to Eldon Lyon Park? If so, that is in Bethany and it is really a huge park, It also has a pretty awesome. If this is the one, I will try to get my DH to join us. He is to much of a city boy to go through the weeds and stuff we did last Sunday. Last Sunday was the best adventure I had been on in a few years.
Take care and thanks for the words or encouragement and support.

Like you I had to lose forty pounds before I could my surgery date. I used a presurgery diet that Dr. Kieith gave me and I lost mine and then some in less than 2 months and I am still losing....Just keep drinking tha****er and moving that tush...eat right and you can do it.
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
Thanks Pattye for the information. I see my nut. this coming Friday so I will see what is suggested. I also have my stress test done on the 8th to see if my heart is strong enough for the surgery. I'm getting excited with each test that I do because it will bring me closer to my surgery. Hopefully they won't find some reason not to do it. Have a good week. You're day is almost here.
