Coats for Kids in Tulsa area

Now I screwed up on school supplies and bought my own and then found out we could have gotten them for free.  So does anyone know where you can get coats, hats, mittens, etc.. for children in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area???  I'll go anywhere EXCEPT Broken Arrow Neighbors. We had a HORRIBLE experience there and I'll never ever go back to there.  Thanks

Call your local DHS and ask about any local Coats for Kids drives. I was able to Get my girls there coats at garage sales last week for a couple of dollars. I am so lucky that they don't care if there clothes come from garage sales. Will miss going when the weather is to cold for them. Debra

When Jim Giles was alive (weatherman on channel 6) he did an annual coats for kids drive.  I'm sure they'll still do it but I don't know if they'll still name it Giles' coats for kids or not... Anyway, it was in conjunction with Yale Cleaners and Catholic Charities.

Hi Laurie, There's a great consignment shop at 101st and Memorial called The Children's Orchard.  They have allot of stuff and good prices. Good luck!

There is a great resale shop at 91st and 145th called, Bearly New Clothing.  They are a Christian resaler and always have a great selection.
