I'm ready to HURT someone!!!
Here's my rant for the day:
I had a great day today. School went wonderfully. I'm on day 3 of 5-day pouch test and all is going well. I'm not starving and I'm not craving!!! I take dh to work and come home to find that "someone" replaced my adorable children with little DEVILS!!!! They're fighting, bickering, picking on each other and I'm going NUTS!! (and I've only been home for an hour). UGH! When dh was home in the evening we didn't have these problems and as soon as he gets a job - it all breaks loose!
We've got church in an hour and I'm sooooo in the wrong mode for church service tonight.
Of course, what I'm really mad at is myself for allowing them to get to me today!!!!!!!
OK , rant over.
Well, I'm glad the pouch test is going well!! Sorry about the kiddos! That's a story of my life though and I only have TWO kids! lol
My kids are 5 years apart and go to different schools and there are times that when I'm picking up the younger daughter, I don't even get out of the school parking lot before I'm ready to pull my hair out!
I hope they are getting along better now!
I'm with you on the kid-thing. Mine isn't a behavioral issue, but a school issue. My 11 year old has started developing testosterone and I'm going nuts. He has this "I don't care" or "whatever" attitude about everything...especially school stuff.
He's gone from straight A's, to B's & C's. He has the time and the ability, he just doesn't want to do it...doesn't see a need. I'm emailing his teachers weekly to get their input. I'm just about to crack.
Tonight I took him to youth group at church. He was wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. When we get into church, he notices that everyone is dressed up for Halloween. So...his
resolve? Easy...he pulls on the drawstrings to his hooded sweatshirt so he can only peek out of a tiny whole and says "There...I'm Kenny from Southpark".
EGAD! We're at church...and my son just announced that he's familiar enough with Southpark to know how the character looks.
***sigh***
I'm so with you on this kid-thing.
Cathy
Cathy - I don't know what Southpark is but I'm certain it isn't all that wholesome. lol I'm blessed that my kids like school (so far) but their attitudes - wow, it blows me away!!!!
My boys fought all the way to church. I pulled in the parking lot and told them they don't get a snack when they get home - the girls then laughed at the boys!! YIKES, when will it end??
I picked up dh from work and told him that HIS kids were rotten tonight!!! ROFL
My kids are 14 and 9 right now and I can't IMAGINE starting all over again with a newborn! ugh!!! I celebrated Miranda's 9th birthday this summer with "She's HALF grown!!"
I'm HALF WAY there!! Yippee!!!
Just wait until they get interested in the opposite sex. My daughter has "boyfriends" and it is so annoying (and scary!) I know what 14 and 15 year old boys probably have on their minds! ICK!!!
If you heard the way she talks to me, you'd think I was retarded and she was a MENSA member! I get so sick of her attitude!
but, she LOVES me when she needs money or wants something! ugh.....
Well Well Well I am not the only one with demons for children...lol.. jk.. actually I have been blessed with my kids.. my daughter (17)is so set on becoming a RN that she doesnt have time for bfs.. thank you lord. she says that guys take to much time and effort... lol.. I agree.. she will go out with a group including guys but when they ask her for one on one dates she always makes an excuse to make it more than just them or just flat out says no... Sometime I think she isnt normal..lol.. but then maybe she is just way to smart for me to understand...lol.. that is possible....Now My son... well he has a gf one day and the next day he breaks up with her.. but then i think most 14 yr olds are like that. his phone is ringing all the time with girls calling.. he ignores them more than he talks to them. he has one friend that is a girl that he text messages with.. but they are JUST friends..lol.. or so he says.. they both were being bullied by a boy at school and I think they become close because of that.
BTW... My kids bicker between themselves ALL the time.. drives me nuts
