I just figured out Pacer is right on the way to Uncle John's-and I'm going to make an effort to see him at least three times a week........so maybe I could make it a workout date as well. What do you Pacer'-ites have to say about it?  Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not post here. What are the dressing rooms like?  Some of the places in Dallas had no real women whatsoever, and even my skinny friends were intimidated.  I'm not going to pay for a place if I'm too shy to drop a towel in the dressing room. Cleanliness is another concern (but I'm more concerned with being embarrassed than a flesh killing virus, how strange is that?)

I have been a member of Pacer for several  years and i  love it because it is full of "real " women  and i have never once felt funny about getting dressed in the dressing room , if you are modest however you can go to the bathroom stalls ,  alot of older people also work out there , which i love .  I also feel it is very clean , and each time you use a machine they have disinfectant to wipe everything down with , or before you start .

It's probably the cleanest and most well-organized workout facility I've ever seen. Equipment is in good working order and they have the staff to assist you in working it People are real.  Regardless of being older, obese, disabled,.. whatever.  It's a diverse group Bathrooms are amazing.  I wish I could stay in the bathroom to work out because it's so fancy.  There's a sitting area with a TV, a sauna, a steamroom, and they have "stuff" if you need it.  Hairdryers, hairspray, tampons, feminine napkins, shampoo, lotion, etc...  I've only been to one of their classes, but they offer line dancing on Thursday nights.  Anthony and I went last week and we had a blast.  I'll definitely be back this week.   I usually go around 4:30 - 6 on the weeknights.  It's never packed.  There's always equipment free to use. Finally, I like the workup that they give you prior to starting.  I liked that my cholesterol was checked and that fat percentage was checked...and that they'll be following up with me on my progress.   This is not one of those "give me your money and leave me alone" places.  This is high-quality. Good to hear-I'm going to give them a call.  In Dallas, if you inquired at a gym, they stalked you forever after...it was awful

Oh...that's another thing.  It's on a month-to-month.  No contract needed.   Tomorrow at 6:45 I'm going to take their line-dancing lessons.  I just LOVE those. Cathy
