In 1 1/2 hours I begin my pre-op diet.  I feel like a roller coaster that is chugging its way up to the top of the "big hill".  I'm very anxious and nervous.  I can't concentrate very good at work - my mind is on other things.  Anyway - just thought I would let you all know tomorrows the start of the rest of my life.  I spent this weekend with mom and dad in Branson MO.  It was a great weekend.  They have both had wls, we just kind of talked about it and they gave me some advise.  It sure is nice knowing you guys are here.  Kind of like the cell phone comercial - your my "network".  -Sandy

Sandy, you will do wonderful on your pre-op diet!! Just keep your eye on the prize and you will be on the loser's side in no time. Take care.

WOO HOO!!!  Your date is getting Close!!!  I can imagine it would be hard to concentrate at work!  lol  I don't even have a date set and I don't work and I'm having a hard time getting things done around the house because I'm wigging out over insurance stuff, getting medical records, waiting by the phone for Dr. Gorospe's office to call me, etc.... Let us know how your pre-op diet is going tomorrow :o) Is it full liquids?

All is well, thanks for all the well wishes.  I am VERY lucky that my precert diet is a protein based diet.  3oz of chicken, turkey, sirlion,cheese or shell fish three times a day and then veggies 6 times a day.  So, I'm definately not starving by any means - but I sure want things I can't have.  I think its such a mind thing....I'm trying to laugh it off.  I mean, really - do I really want a piece of chocolate cake, a glass of milk or a slice of pizza???  NO, MY NEED TO BE HEATHLY IS MORE THAN THE NEED OF ALL THAT COMBINED!!!
