Beautiful Storm

WOW, we had a lightening show on our way home from church tonight. It was sooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!  We were ohhhhh and ahhhhhing like it was the July 4th fireworks or something.  I realized too, that my kids have at long last grown out of being scared of storms. My Rebekah was HORRIBLY affraid of storms. The ONLY way to get her to sleep if it was storming was to put her walkman on her, and cover her completely with something dark that she couldn't see through (she liked to crawl into the bottom portion of a sleeping bag)!!! Other then that she'd sit there and cry in terror from the storms.  Hope you all got to enjoy some of the lights tonight!!!

I still don't care for storms.  When they are loud I just don't like it.  I've had a couple "too close for comfort" moments with tormatic storms in my life, and I just don't like it! That storm tonight made me mad when it crashed our power when we were trying to shut the computers down (we have 4)

I admit I love storms...the power and awe makes me wanna watch them all the time. I see the glory of God in them...I now I am strange.. Glad to know your kids are handling them better.

I love to sleep through storms.. the lights flickered twice last night and I was out for the count. boy i slept like a baby last night.. so thank ya god for that storm

I don't mind the storms I just don't like the clean up. Our lawn furniture was everywhere. I am just glad I didn't work last night a tree fell on 3 cars at the hospital (right were I usually park).

I t passed us by on the southside so I got to go to water aerobics, but Uncle John over on NW Expway got hammered (no damage, just a lot of light and noise.)
