Laurie! Staples in pouchie
Laurie, I saw on the main board where you were posting about the staples that were in your pouch. Did you say that your surgeon had someone *spying* on the boards and they made you take your staple pics down? That kinda scares me. I don't want anyone *spying* on me!!
I see that you have the pics on there again (thanks for sharing)...
But, I just think it is crappy that they would spy on you... That almost sounds like they were trying to hide complications... Like, we all go into this knowing there are possible complications, but I don't think it was right for him to make you take your pics down.
It is a FACT of YOUR LIFE! It HAPPENED to YOU!! Why wouldn't you be able to tell/show your experience? Those pics belonged to YOU!!
Anyway, I just wanted to vent that frustration! lol
Also, were they able to remove them when they did the scope and discovered them?

Yes, he was furious that I posted the pics. I didn't do it to be mean. I was SICK and SCARED to death and he was gone on vacation!! I posted asking if others had heard of this (no one had)
I ended up firing that surgeon.... there were other issues and I feel he put my life in grave danger for HIS convience!! So, now I can post them freely.
Yes he told me he had office staff that monitor the OH site for him!! How horrible is that?!!
They did not take the staple out during the scope. When I woke up, no one told me anything. He had gone home early and didn't stick around to see what my scope showed (I think cuz he had pre diagnosed me as being just a psyco and didn't take my pain serious). So all they did was give me the photo with no explanation at all!!!
Afterwards he told me that as soon as I was strong enough (I was critically malnutrished by this point, partly due to him ignoring my pleas for help) that he'd take it out. When I did get better, he said there was no reason to take it out.... he out and out lied to me the whole time. That was the last I ever saw of him!!!!
I pretty much jus****ch what I eat so as not to agrivate it again. If I do ever have another ulcer issue I'll make sure it's taken out.

Its only because of God's mighty love for us and the healing stripes of Jesus that I'm alive today. Last November we thought for sure I'd be dead by Christmas..... haahaaahaaaa, I'm alive!!! Not only alive, but doing GREAT!!!!!

Uh YOUR PHOTO, YOUR BODY....hello. Things have gotten so litigeous and out of hand today.
I was at the ER earlier this week with Uncle John and as I was walking by the nurses station I noticed there was rib X Ray up. I shouted (not loudly) HEY, Is that George Clooney's X-Rays???? and no one thought it was the least bit funny (except for me and Uncle John).
