carb intake during liquid diet
Hey guys,
Ok, I am a little freaked out, today is my 1st day of liquid, and I made the mistake of not getting protein in until late afternoon. And then my carb intake, help I need to be able to think and concentrate, I need help with some ideas on getting my carbs in. Any suggestions?

The sample diet that Katrina gave you is a pretty good source of information. I, too, struggled with getting in the right amount of protein and carbs.
tomato soup, pudding, popsicles, yogurt, etc. will help you with the carbs...just make sure you stay within the range that Dr. Gornichec prescribed for you.
protein supplements/shakes/powder are absolutely necessary during this stage, but cottage cheese and yogurt will help with this, too.
Read labels and refer to Dr. G's material. It'll keep you on track.
