Water Aerobics

I took my mom to the Jim Thorpe Arthiritis center for a water aerobics class and I got as much or more out of it than she did.  I had forgotten what a great exercise form that is, especially for overweight or arthritic or (in my case overweight and bad feet).  It really is a fun way to reconnect with other people and your own body.  You don't have to wait till you lose weight, its' something you can do right now! The Jim Thorpe is a small facility and it's a therapuedic (warm warm warm) pool.  And, it's completely self paced-you follow the instructions at your own pace, no worries.  Every water aerobics class I have ever been to has been like that-do what you can.  But since it's all under water, no one can compare. Just wanted to put that out there and pat myself on the back.  I whine about not exercising, and when I DO I forget to mention it!

I used to take water aerobics and loved it. I have alot of back problems and it was really easy on my back.. I guess because of the water.
