socks

yeah so I had this big huge sack of socks that were mismatches and recently I decided to just start wearing them. I mean who made up the rule that socks have to match... I'm a rebel!   

 you and my 17 yr old daughter would get along great.. she says why do they have to match if they are inside your shoe and under you pants leg...

Hah-I never match my socks.  I buy a big bunch that are just alike, but then they always mingle with previous bunches. Once, at the office, someone said (rudely I thought) "Do you know your socks don't match?" and I popped off with "Don't you believe in diversity?" (Honestly I never think of witty things at the right moment, so this was a diamond for me).

You are a Rebel!!!!  I am a total freak about my socks....they definately have to match - even the faded ones have to match with the other faded ones.  I wonder what that says about me.  You think it means I'm a control freak?!@?

oh Sandy!!!  You could have took the words out of my mouth!  Most of my socks are white and they are a certain brand/style...  Mainly because I want my brand/style to be different from my daughter's or else my socks will end up brownish-gray.  But, when I'm matching my socks, I look at the wear patterns and mate up "newer" looking socks with more "worn" socks... even though they are really the same brand/style. Most of my socks are white because I used to work in a medical office where we wore white shirt, white pants, white shoes, white lab coat every single day. Now, she has also turned into a rebel and wears crazy socks and never match them!  Hey, her shoes don't even match!  At this very moment, she happens to be wearing a SUPER WOMAN costume OVER the clothes she wore to school! Crazy 14 year ols!
