I have a question????? Has anyone had the pimple like feeling on your fingertips.  You can see them and they don't really hurt it's more annoying.  Lea Ann

Are they itchy?  If so, then yes.  For some reason, every time that I fold the church bulletins I get them on my fingers (which means weekly).  I've wondered if it is from the ink or the paper. HHHMMM...

I took my son to the doc yesterday and had him look at them and he didn't know either but said to get back with him.  It has gone away now. Lea Ann

I had them years ago.  I would touch ALOT of paper and rubber bands for my job.  For the longest time I thought I was allergic to the rubber bands.  But the Dr. told me it was a reaction to touching alot of paper - something about the oils in your skin and the fibers of the paper.  He suggested using New Skin on my fingertips to avoid the irritation and to use Luberderm (sp) Lotion or Euceryn (sp) ;otion.  I would have never thought of my fingers being "dry" by looking at them.  Those peskey little bumps itched like the dickens and when I tried to pop them it burned like FIRE!!!  I know, I know (too much information) but I really do understand.  Try one of those two lotions and see if it doesn't help the irritation....  hope it helps!

I had something similar to this a long time ago.  It got quite bad but not as bad as what is shown in the picture on this link!  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyshidrosis  I went to a dermatologist and he called dyshidrosis. Go to that link and see if that sounds familiar. Sandy, I popped mine too and they stung really bad too :o)
