It's Wednesday!!!
Oh my gosh...am I the only one that woke up with some allergy problems this morning? I've got the snots and sneezing and it feels like my eyes could glue shut. Yuck!
I think we are going to plant a tree tonight. Actually, we're planning on transplanting one. We've got a fruitless crabapple there already, but I think there is something wrong with it - and I am wanting a Autumn Blaze Maple to replace it. They are my favorite tree this time of year.
Do you have a favorite type of tree?

Favorite Tree??? An artificial one (as in Christmas) ..... Im allergic to just about all trees and stuff like that. So what did I do over the weekend stood in the woods for three hours waiting in line to take my kids horse back riding, and then went on a horse ride through the woods........ silly silly move on my part (what we parents wont do for our kids) I immediately started back on my allergy meds, my nose is running, my eyes ich - oh how I wish I wouldn't have done it. LOL We have a couples only hay ride this month with our sunday school - I am soooooo NOT going!!!! ROFL
AAAHHH....my pastor (my boss) and I were just talking about this! The sneezing and runny nose and such. I'm wearing very little makeup today. It's just not worth it!

All right ladies-I'm going to say it again. GET A NETTI POT. You can get a starter kit at Walgreens for like 14 bucks and you will be hooked. Yeah, it feels a little wierd, and at first is a little gross, but it will ease up those allergies and you won't get sinus infections as a result. Take this from a person who was so bad she had to get cortisone shots up each nostril once a month!
My roses arrived yesterday so I will probably plant them today-they are replacing a couple of trees (a Cedar ---oh my gosh the snot) and a Pine Tree I've had removed.
I really miss mimosa trees and am toying with the idea of trying to bonsai one in the front yard.
I'm a scardy cat! I've got a fear of drowning and there is no way I could do it. But, it's cool that it's something available that helps!

A netti pot looks like a plastic tea pitcher-you fill it full of sal****er and pour it up one nostril, let it run through your sinuses and out the other nostril. It washes out your sinuses.
If you can't do the full netti, there are sprays and some other kind of spray pump appartus that will work in much the same manner. It is gross, but also truly amazing what a little sal****er will do.
My Mom just uses a saline spray, but I really think to get the full benefit you need a good thorough soaking/rinsing.
If you are afraid of water, or claustophic though, it can be a very scary experience until you get used to it, and you have to be able to hold your breath for about 20 seconds or so while you are rinsing or you could choke.
