You deserve to do something fun and exciting!  Congratulations on the good grades! My husbands job is putting on a Geocaching thing tomorrow (that's why I am missing the support group) - it's going to be so super exciting and I can't wait! Hope you have an awesome weekend! Tonja

What geocaching thing, Tonja?  Is there an event that I'm missing? Oh, and have you decided if you're going to fall fest? Cathy

Cathy, We're not able to go to Fall Fest...just too much going on!  Dang! Today's Geocaching event was through Chesapeake Energy out at Arcadia Farms behind POPS.  It was so freakin' awesome!  We hiked about 4 miles and got in some good caching.  They also supplied the BBQ for lunch - yum!  Had we been able to invite outside of immediate family - I would have asked you to go!  Maybe next time.  It was so absolutely beautiful - beyond words beautiful!  And, I only had one tick on me - and he was barely biting - so I'm good...even though now that I'm thinking about it - my head itches. Did you go to support group? T

I don't remember support groups unless you post them on here, so...no However, I tackled my son's bedroom and we gave about $200 toys to charity...and now, we can see the floor to his room. We ate at Pops Thursday night.  I called first, and was told the wait was 20 minutes.  When we actually got there, we were told the wait was 2 hours.  We chose to stay and got seated after one hour.  Food was good. My 9 year old got a plate of nachos that would've fed 3 people and was AWESOME  ($4.25) My 11 year old got a chicken fried steak that was moist and not grissley  ($8.00) Anthony got a quesadilla, which he enjoyed, but said wasn't "great" (6.00) I got a chicken wrap, which was a pretty standard wrap.  (6.00) Ethan definitely made the best choice (bargain and taste-wise), but I know mine was healthier Is there a new geocache planted out there?  I didn't know Chesapeake had a geocaching group. OK for everyone else out there wondering what Geocaching is....I looked it up.... So what is this 'geocaching' thing anyway? Simply put, geocaching is treasure hunting for the 21st century. Armed with a GPS receiver, a set of coordinates that tell you the location of a cache, and a healthy sense of adventure, players go out and look for caches of goodies hidden by other geocachers. If one of the goodies in the cache strikes your fancy, you can take it--provided you leave another goodie in its place. Sounds like FUN!!  T - I'd like to know alittle bit more about this interesting game/hunt thing..... I'll expect a FULL UPDATE Sunday!!!! - Sandy Oh, my best friend from High School just bought a new resturant and I'm helping her do inventory, clean, decorate.  I'm so excited for her!!  Thats my big plans this weekend. -Sandy

Tonja and I are both ex-geocachers, if you will. We used to be highly active in the sport, but have taken time off for...whatever...but the plan is that we'll get back involved now that the days are cooler, and if we can make time. Cathy it's WONDERFULLY fun.
