Oprah...

She looks better today!  Maybe she got over whatever was wrong with her! T

I used to watch her show a lot but got tired of it.  Actually, I usually listened to it on the radio at work because Channel 6 in Tulsa can be picked up on FM. 

. What was wrong with her?  I haven'****ched her in awhile...  But, I record it every day to see what the topic is and watch if I'm interested.  I've been in a funk this week, so I have several episodes recorded now that I haven't even taken a look at the topic of. Oh, how I LOVE my DVR!!

I love dvr's ..mine get  so much use .. as for oprah. I remember watching her once after jfk jr died and I think it was maria shriver was on there and oprah says "every morning I wake up and I think about jfk jr" and I thought to myself..yeah right...with her billion dollar empire the first thing she thinks about is jfk jr? maria just looked at her like she was crazy but I think she just said thank you or something...I mean come on..

I couldn't ppst yesterday-but I'm glad she's better. JFK jr is another example of having it all, but having nothing.  Well, his nothing was caused by death, which is pretty final.

I read in O mag that she has a throid problem. I'm just glad I'm not on TV for the world to see even the slighted snag in my life. I love Oprah, she is inspiration to all women.  

AAAHHH - Okay - Thyroid problem - especially hypothyroidism would explain why she has been looking like that. T

I had a long drive from Houston and thought a bit about Oprah.  Do you realize she has made her fortune off being "everywoman"?  People like her in part because she is so human, and wears her failures on her sleeve.  Of course, she is well paid for it.  But, Oprah might not be who she is if she was blonde, blue eyed and thin. On the other hand, I'd truly love to see her go out and get a lap band and get thin and healthy once and for all.  I want that for myself and I want it for Oprah too.  Come on O, the band will set you free!!!!!
