Here Ye, HERE YE.....

Hoops?  I guess. I had to do a 6 mos supervised weight loss with my pcp.  Once I completed that and the Dr. faxed his notes from each of my 6 mos visits to my nurse, I was approved in two days!  Then they faxed it to the surgeon and they scheduled it with in 2 days.  So, really compared to some of the stuff I read - yes it was relatively easy.  The only pre-op appts was 6 mos with my pcp and a psych visit.      

I don't want to have to do a doc supervised diet.  I sure hope I don't have to!   I saw my PCP yesterday for something completely different but also asked her what she thought of me going through with WLS and she said it sounded like a good idea to her, so I think she'll do anything to help me that I need her to do.  I just don't hope it doesn't take SIX MONTHS of a diet! Did you lose much on your diet?  Is it good to lose or bad to lose?  I'm only 38 BMI, so I don't really want to lose.....
