Well, my last name is Grammer, but not the English "grammar", so I guess we are all okay!  haha

Congratulations on your date!  This is SO exciting.  I don't blame you for wanting to do Thanksgiving early.  The cool part is, you will actually be able to eat a little bit of whatever you want for Thanksgiving next year!  I had my surgery last Oct 30th, and I actually even had a little bit of turkey and stuffing for T-Giving.  Of course, yours will be closer to the holiday than mine was, but not by much!  Are you having RNY or band?

Whooopeeeeee! One of the greatest gifts my surgery has given me is my family has finally agreed to go out for T-giving dinner.  Mom is really too old to cook a big dinner and I really have no interest and the other relatives are elderly and eat very little-so this year no one will be tired, and we'll still all be together, which is the most important thing of all.

. Congrats to you!  I"m so happy for you.  How long did it take to get approved for you?  Did you have to jump through hoops or was it relatively easy?  What all pre-op appointments did you have to do?  gastro?  pulmno?  sleep study?  cardio?  nutrition?  psych?  etc...
