I'm bringing this to a thread of its own... Next Monday, October 8, 7:00 p.m. We've had suggestions for On the Border, Panera, and Starbucks...all of the locations near Baptist Integris Hospital You guys vote and let's meet next Monday.  Who else can come? Cathy (my vote is for Panera or Starbucks, as I'm not sure I can handle chips & salsa yet)

I vote for On The Border!  I don't eat bread so Panera wouldn't really do me any good (but I know others can eat it).  Starbucks is always welcome. Sounds like fun! Tonja

I can share some nachos or do an enchilada or something.  I'm not a chicken salad gal at all.  Maybe I need to look at a menu though and see what else they have.  hhhmmm... T

Do nachos go down a band easily?  I guess I thought that the pointy edges would be rough to eat. Cathy

I'll tell you a place I really love, but I don't know if they have any outside of Edmond...it's McAllesters.  YUM!  They've got some good grub there!

I love McAlester's too, as well as Jason's Deli.  There is a  McAlesters in Moore, Stillwater, and Norman (not to mention those in the Tulsa metro).  I don't think there's one near the hospital, though.   Cathy

I did just see that Panera has a thing called a Crispani - it's like a thin crust pizza.  I could share that with someone!

I like all three so I'm not a lot of help.  I can't eat bread, but I think Panera has soups, so it's all good.  Cathy, chips wouldn't likely be a problem, but the salsa could be.  It was hot when I was there a week or so ago.  I ate the middle of a fish taco and part of a tamale.  Little disappointed that the fish was fried.....boooooo. Starbucks is always good too.
