Where is your favorite place to shop/or/where do you look forward to shopping? I bought some awesome jeans at Gordman's this last week.  I love them and they are very hip looking jeans...and make me feel sexy.  Of course, I do love Cato as well. Tonja

I like Cato-but I'm looking forward to visiting the Liz Claiborne Outlet in Conroe again this week.  I rarely look forward to shopping-so this is indeed a great thing!

Don't really ever buy myself anything. For my birthday last month my friend and her daughter got me a bunch of shirts because they say I never get things for myself.  I think because I've failed at this and have gained a lot of my weigh back that clothes don't interest me. Never owned a pair of jeans until I had lost most of my weight and my friend made me get them. Still don't really like the feel of them. Do love my capri's.  Goal is to get into 2 pair that I bought in Denver and were a little tight when I got them at Chris & barnes . Now there are in the back of the closet. I Feel like a failure compared to all of you that are doing so well. Sorry for the negative but how I feel today. Thanks for letting me vent. Debbie

I totally understand where Debbie is coming from.  I don't like to shop too much, either, and find myself going more when the pounds are fewer. I do like Cato.  I used to like Avenue, but they quit carrying a majority of "tall" items.  I despise the mall, so I don't go to Lane Bryant. (okay...here's a secret...I kinda like Wal-Mart's plus sized section.  Although they don't carry a lot of "tall items", I like the prices for their blouses & capris) Cathy

Debbie-I hope I didn't sound like a fashionista-no matter where I shop it's always jeans and khaki's and t-shirts.  That's all I wear. Maybe it's time to run down and find one special shirt that will make you feel like you tried.  Clothes can't make you feel better, but sometimes feeling like you tried will.

I don't want anyone to flame me for this, but it's actually funny/ironic.  I love to shop at Cato and I used to shop on the plus side.  As I have lost weight, It's been so exciting to shop on the other side of the store.  Well now, ironically, I'm having a tough time finding clothes small enough there now.  I didn't have any trouble at all in a size 18, 20, and 22, but try finding a size 4 and good luck to you.  I know, I know, what a sad problem to have, but it's true.   I am thankful for my new size, I just miss being able to get the great deals on clothes I love at Cato. :)
