Scale Frequency

After my next visit on Thursday, it will probably be awhile before I need to go in again.  So I am going to have to come up with a weighing frequency to weigh at home.  (Can't drive to Houston just to weigh) Now-one thing I've done is announced to relatives that I will weigh on Thursday, let them know and there will be be no public weigh ins for me until January 1, at which time I will weigh and send a picture with an update.  (This was my answer to how to avoid the food police during the holidays-it's a pet peeve so I am tackling it head on). My question for you guys is-how often should I weigh and update my ticker, because I consider OH a "private" place where that is ok and won't bug me, and in fact will keep me accountable and motivated.   Weekly?   Every Two weeks?  I'm leaning towards every two weeks-it seems like a non obsesive time frame but is still frequent enough to catch any danger signs (too much eggnog).  Thoughts?

I know Dr. G had said Thursday or Fridays are the best days of the week to weigh. That's all I'm adding.

That makes sense-kind of keeps you on track for the weekends, and I hate Mondays enough anyway-I don't need an additional thing to do on Monday! But frequency? And, btw-I can't weigh daily-I tend to be a bit compulsive so I want to create a healthy habit.

I have been weighing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but I think I'll cut back to just Saturday.
