You guys are doing the right thing by watching your kids' internet use.   I know the kids bring some of the attention on themselves sometimes, but you wouldn't let your 14 year old daughter walk into a bar full of strangers, why let her walk into a chat room?

My kids are 19 yrs, 15 yrs and 12 yrs. Protecting kids online is the first step in protecting them in the real world. Predators come into the real world to walk among us and victimize children and sometimes adults.  And it isn't just about teen girls. Teen boys are propositioned online also. The time for double standards are long gone. All children need to be protected.

. Did any of you watch the Dateline To Catch a Predator series?  I couldn't believe how many times they guys mentioned that show in thier chat logs and then STILL came and tried to meet up with an underage boy or girl!!!  Some of them even drove hundreds of miles!!  Sick!!!

I have one..most of my friends I hang out with have one..so we use it to keep in touch alot. I really like myspace. I mean yeah it has some bad things about it as far as I dont think kids should really be on there..but me I love it and I am totally addicted to it..seriously I check it like a million times a day.
