Do you have a Myspace page?  I love myspace.  I keep mine nice and clean and my page is private - in other words - not just anyone can check it out. Do you have one? Tonja

no myspace for me. I thought I was doing good to have yahoo messanger, but even that I never turn on anymore!! Busy, busy life!!! ugh!!

I do but it is to keep tabs on my kids. There is nothing on my page and they are my only friends, lol.

I have two blogs I update daily www.poidogz.blogspot.com   about my dogs, dog rescue, animal stuff www.serroscotty.blogspot.com about my midlife crisis, lapband, general interest Both are open for comments.  I sometimes use a four letter word but it's not really xxx rated-I don't say anything I wouldn't want my mother to read and I want to keep it that way.  I thought I was a racy kinda gal and I logged on to the sex before after WLS forum here and almost died on the spot.

I have myspace.   I originally got it to keep track of my daughter, but then I realized it was fun...   Then the new wore off and I got too busy to mess with it.   Now I'm not working outside of the home anymore so I'm logging on a little more often.   I need to update it. I think I have 45 friends.  Some are bands (music), some are local attractions, some are family members, some are friends from HIGH SCHOOL that I haven't seen or talked to in 17 + years, and some are my daughter's friends.  I like to keep track of who her friends are and what their interests are and what they are saying about their parents behind their backs!  lol My daughter doesn't know it, but I know her password and I log on as her sometimes to read private messages that I can't see otherwise.  Some may not agree with that, but being a 14 year old girl these days isn't like it was when I was 14 and I just like to know what is going on with her and her friends. my internet policy with my kids is this:  I get log in's and passwords for ALL accounts and I have the right to go at any time and look on any of them. My kids are good about it. They also know that if at any time I find new accounts that I didn't know about they're done on the internet until they move out on their own and pay for their own computer and internet.  There's too much at risk with our kids theses days to NOT take things serious. 

I agree 100%!!!!!  I'm glad you see my point of view. Believe it or not, some believe in letting thier kids have their privacy... As long as my girls are in my house, it's my rules!

I have taken it a step further. There is a keystroke logger on every computer in my house. It logs every IM, every website, every keystroke. I check often. I get emails when keywords are encountered. I have passwords and all account information for everything they do. But I want to be able to find any information (at my fingertips) if I feel the need to.

What ages are your kids?  I've not allowed my kids to have myspace pages, but they've not asked for them yet.  My kids are total computer junkies, but they like to play rpg & mmo games.  I'm very careful when they play the mmo. I don't have a myspace page...well, that's not true.  I have one, but I don't log in to it.  I  used to play with it, but don't anymore.  It's been two years since I've been there. Cathy

I love my myspace page!!! My girls don't have one.  I won't allow them to have one.  Not for a long time.  Harlie has some internet access because her school is big on homework/internet stuff - but I watch and am aware of everything she does.  She does believe that I have eyes not only on the front of my head, but on all other sides as well. I have come in contact with a lot of my old classmates on there, which has been a blast. So, if anyone would like to share myspace info, PM me and we'll exchange. Tonja
