I'M HOME!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I came home yesterday evening and I am doing good. There was an issue with the staple gun misfiring on one of my rows of staples, so Dr. G had to suture that one row. At first I was really nervous, but all of my test said that I did not have a leak. Hopefully, this won't be something I have to worry about in the future. Other than that, I am walking, resting and sipping. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and concerns. I love you all.

Welcome home!  When you think about it, the mechanics of a staple and a stitch are the same-they just hold things together-so you'll be fine.

I'm so glad you are home. When you get to feeling a little more strength and such, would you mind talking about the difference in the procedure with sutures vs. staples?  I think it would be great for us to hear about. Thank our precious Father that you are home and doing well! Tonja
