I thought bandster hell was the period between surgery and soft food stage where you're hungry, but still on liquids. I'm not on liquids anymore and am almost full foods (no steak or raw veggies, but can eat chicken, eggs, and pasta with no problems) I'm so darned hungry.  Perhaps since the nausea is completely gone, my body is wanting me to make up the depleted calories that I lost when I wasn't eating, but man...this is unreal. I could eat two cups of spaghetti, if I let myself.    Is this normal for three weeks out? Cathy

yes (in a very quite tiny voice)...(as I tip toe away). It will get better once you have your first fill.  It makes you feel like you had the surgery for nothing...but...it does get better.  After you get through your surgery and are healed up - I'd get a fill. If you need to scream or anything - go ahead - it's understandable!!! Tonja

Yeah-completely.  The other thing that might happen, and is also normal, is that some days you'll be tight and not hungry, and some days you won't be tight and be VERY hungry.  That's normal too.
