Got some pics back from vacation a few weeks ago-me feeding a deer from the side and back. In a tank top I hate pictures and it really depressed me because it was like a slap in the face about how far I have to go. I know I'll like them a year from now because it will remind me of how far I've come but right now, just ewwwwwwww.
Oh I remember exactly how you feel!!! I NEVER liked a picture of me!! Never, ever, ever!!! Until I got to goal and had my pictures taken, now it just simply amazes me the transfermation that has taken place.
You are right, a year from now you'll feel differently about having a picture taken of yourself!!!

I had even considered doing a photo essay for my blog, probably not publishing it until after-but that's just too "real" for me right now. I knew my Mom was taking the picture so I made a note of how I was feeling at the moment and I will try and remember how magical it was to feed that wild animal. But my thought at the camera snap was "I wish I was 100 pounds lighter so I could enjoy the picture".
Over the years I've not been in many pictures because I was the one taking them. Now I try to get in them cause I don't mind. It does change!!!

It WILL change, that's why I'm not completely devasted as I usually am when I see pictures. I'm just trying my best to be really open and honest when something weight related or band related happens and share that because I appreciate all the sharing on this forum.
Just like the dreaded Bandster Hell, I guess this is the time where the new wears off and the rubber meets the road.
On a brighter note, now I'm glad I bought the punching bag and gloves on Saturday-gonna work on those flabby arms. Hey, it cured my buyer's remorse.
