I have a quick question for you girls.  I know that it is possible that you may start your cycle right after surgery, but my question is, what if you start your cycle the night before your surgery?? Will I have to reschedule?

NOPE!!!  Isn't that awesome.  You'll just need to let them know that day you go for surgery.  They may give you some of those 'super sexy' mesh undies to wear.  Just make sure you don't have a tampon in or anything like that. When I had my hysterectomy - I was on my period.  It had to have the last laugh. Tonja

I had a tummy tuck and lipo of the side flanks performed by Nathan Miller with Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates in Oklahoma City on June 23rd, 2009.

Tonja, that old uterus went out with a bang, not a whimper.

I had a laproscopic hernia repair while I was on my period.  As Tonja said...enjoy the mesh panties. Just bring lots of pads...you're not going to want to deal with tampons while you're recovering in the hospital. Cathy
