You all missed out!!!

There were three of us at Starbucks.  I had a great time!  Pat, you are such an awesome lady!  I'm so glad to have finally met you.  Can't wait to hear your good news on Friday!!!!  Cathy - it was so great seeing you again and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow night too. We're thinking that maybe next time we can move to another location and see who we pick up then.  We know that it's probably hard for those that are on the other side of OKC to try to make it over to the North side - so we're willing to move around and see where it takes us and who we meet next. So, with that said, who has suggestions on meeting places? Tonja

How about the Panera Bread that's up by Baptist Hospital over on NW Expressway. They close at 9:00, but shouldn't be a problem if we meet up at 7:00 again. Cathy

Are y'alls get togethers just for people who have had surgery or are they for anyone on the board? Do y'all only meet on Monday nights? Depending on where the next one is and if I think I can find it I might drive up there to meet some of you. If that is ok...

Well gals I had a great time I learned alot from both of you! Finally getting to be faced to faced with both was just fantastic . I do think that maybe something down futher would be great.To be able to talk freely and openly was some of the best medicne I think we could have given each other. Natalie its for those who r on the road to wls or r traveling it. Come on up and enjoy the zany world of WLS. Just remember you are not alone on this forum. BTW I made a mistake instead of decaff I got the full stuff and I am wide awake....looks like I am gonna be up all night!

I am sorry I missed out , I was on my way , when i had to help a friend out , just a small crisis , but i was bummed because i had looked forward to it all day ,,, there is always next time .....

I also suggest we move the date for next month to a time that's not so close to the support group meeting.  If the meeting is the 3rd Tuesday of the month, perhaps we should do our "get togethers" on the 1st Monday of the month...that way we can break it up a bit. How about Monday, Oct 1 for our next social gathering? Cathy
