Canker Sores...

Do any of you all get canker sores in your mouths?  I've got one that has been here about a week and I'm ready to just cut out that part of my mouth.  I think it would feel the same.  I think I have a virus that keeps recurring.  I wonder how a person can get that out of their system. But, on a good note, I didn't let it ruin my weekend at the Scottish Games.  The weather was so completely awesome this weekend.  I got a little red on the back of my neck and on my nose - and I think my lips are wind burnt (along with my sore - aaahhh!!!). I hope everyone else had a terrific weekend. BTW - I'm really looking forward to tomorrow evening at Starbucks.  It's going to be awesome!!! Tonja

I get internal mouth sores when my Crohn's flares up.  Apparently (and this is kinda cool, but also kinda gross), since the mouth is part of the digestive system, the Crohns causes sores/ulcers from the mouth all the way down to the bootie. I didn't learn this from my GI doc.  Dr. Gornichec told me. Cathy
