(NOT SO) Aggravated (Anymore)!!!!!

I am so aggravated at Fed-X.  I paid for faster shipping from a company and signed a certain paper so I didn't have to be home for delivery - if I left the paper on my front door.  So...I signed the paper and taped it to my front door.  What did Fed-X do?  They decided that since I wasn't home - they would take it back to their facility.  Ummm...I'm feeling a bit mad about this!!!  What is up with these people.  They tried to give me the excuse that they used their discretion as to whether it should be left on my porch or not.  WAIT A MINUTE...isn't that the paper that I signed and taped to my door - releasing them from anything happening to it?  I live in a very safe neighborhood and nothing was going to happen to that package.  When I called them earlier they said they would have someone bring it back out...we'll see.  According to their website, it shows it is still at the facility.  What do I do if it doesn't get delivered tonight?  Is Fed-X accountable for this? UPS does this to me all the time... One time, there was a package I wasn't expecting.  I drove way out to the facility to get it and it was a stupid calendar that a non-profit agency had sent me. This past month, they left a box on my front porch that said "Nintendo WII".  Can you believe it?  I was surprised it was there when I retrieved it 4 hours later when I got home from work. I think it's a matter of what the sender wants to happen.  Even if you sign a release. At least they told you they would bring it back out.  Still...I, too, would be fuming. Cathy

They better bring it!!!  Or I'll...well, I don't know what I'll do...maybe make a YouTube video crying (like the guy did about Britney Spears) and post it all over the internet.  Tonja

A friend of mine's son recently bought a new PS3 on ebay and it was shipped via Fed Ex.  He never received it, and when he called they said someone had signed for it.  They have no idea who that someone was, and Fed Ex didn't want to pay for the item.  Fortunately, the sender had it insured. Yikes!

I guess my biggest complaint was that I knew that I would be taking a 'risk' in signing ahead of time for it to be left on my porch, but it was a risk I was willing to take - but yet they ignored my request.  The package would have been completely fine. BUT...guess what... I've got to quit my griping now... It was just delivered. Shame on my impatience!!! All is well again!  Thanks for listening to me complain! Tonja
