Okay - so the Bermuda Triangle question just wasn't the one for the day. So, how about... What are you reading? And, what is your favorite type of book to read? I love westerns written by Dusty Rhodes. I just finished 'Longhorn III: The Prodigal Brother' by Dusty Rhodes.  It was so completely awesome.  I'm looking for something new to read now.  Tonja

I love westerns and historical books....The latest book that I read was THE SCALPEHUNTERS by Kerry ? Its a series and was good. The next one I am going to try and read is I Know Why the Manatee Swims Naked...I've shopped For Swimming Suits Too. By Rebel Covan....

I just finished "It Ain't All About the Cookin'" by Paula Deen.  Sure wish I could cook like she does and still have a nice figure like hers.  Lately I've been reading books written by surgeons and other medical professionals.  A really great one is "Hot Lights, Cold Steel" by Michael Collins, MD.  I've also read about twenty books about weight loss surgery in the past couple of years.

Isn't Paula Deen cute as a bug?  I just loved watching her on Oprah the other day (rerun). Tonja

Paula Deen is hilarious , and whatcracks me up is when i go to Pacer on Saturday morning , here i am sweating like a pig on  the treadmill and there she is on the TV , fryin up somethin with lots of REAL butter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now I am reading a book on python husbandry, and I have a humorous book called the Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove by Christopher Moore I'll read tomorrow at the doctors.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... I emailed the author, Dusty Rhodes, the author of those books that I love, and asked him if he was going to be in OKC for An Affair of the Heart - and he said yes.  So, I asked him if my hubby and I could take him and his wife out for dinner one night while he is here and he said yes.  YEAH!!!  It's so awesome!!!  I've met up with him a few times at the different shows, but have never gotten to sit and pick his brain - so this is going to be a really great experience.
