We all know each others' dietary dreams, surgery types, surgeons, and dates, but I'd like to know more... 1)  Are you married? 2)  Kids (if so, how many & gender)? 3)  Do you work out of the home (if so, where)? 4)  What are your favorite hobbies? 5)  Anything else you want to share? Here's me... 1)  Married to Anthony.  We've been married for 14 months.   2)  Two boys, Jacob - 11; and Ethan - 9 (obviously from a previous marriage) 3)  I work full-time for Farmers Insurance while all three boys (hubby included) go to school. 4)  geocaching (although I've taken a break for awhile); board games with the kids (we LOVE Apples to Apples;  5)  I once walked a half marathon at San Diego's Coca-Cola Rock 'n Roll Marathon.  I was supposed to go the whole way, but I had a Crohn's flare-up in the middle of my training, so the doc said "no way".  He only wanted me walking 5 so I arranged a friend to pick me up at the mile 5 marker.  However, I failed to realize that roads would be closed (DUH), so once I was on the marathon route, he couldn't get to me and I sure as hell wasn't going to sit on the curb and wait.  We finally met up at mile 13.8.   It was AWESOME!! 1.  Yes, I am married - it will be 9 years this next month. 2.  I have two daugthters - ages 13 and 6 1/2 years. 3.  Yes, I work outside the home at the Edge Church. 4.  My hobbies would be reading, being on the computer, watching my husband do his bagpiping and traveling around with him, traveling anywhere, etc.  I'm also enjoying swimming (since I've gotten over my fear of going under water  - weird I know!) and racketball. 5.  My favorite author is Dusty Rhodes - he writes western novels.  I think he is grand and I would love to sit down with him and pick his brain. Great thread idea.  Here I am 1)  Are you married? No, divorced for a looooooooong time, and truly thought I would never marry EVER again.  EVER.  Still don't see it happening, but I don't hate the idea any more. 2)  Kids (if so, how many & gender)? 1 daughter, aged 28, estranged (drugs).  I used to just omit her, but it seems more honorable to tell the truth, that I love her but can't see her. 3)  Do you work out of the home (if so, where)? I'm working on working from home-but running in to snags along the way.  So, I went and got a lap band while I figured it all out, might as well lose some weight while I'm thinking.  My last RJ (real job) was as a SOX Compliance Manager for SRCP, a Dallas based company.  I really hope to figure out how NOT to go back to corporate America, I did my time there, did well, but I'm soooo over it. 4)  What are your favorite hobbies? Dogs, cats, reptiles, photography.  I want to learn to ride a horse and learn to scuba dive.  I love the ocean and I love sharks and I hope to photograph a Great White in the wild (from a cage).  Sadly, the biggest obstacle is not fear of the GW shark but fear of putting on a wet suit in public. 5)  Anything else you want to share?

I try to be as honest as I can without embarrassing the relatives too much-which is silly because they never read it anyway.

I always wanted to go see the Staute of Liberty, Ellis Island, Phillie, and Gettsyburg. My dream was to walk these places and to get all the sites in. For four months I walked, worked out, and drove myself nuts getting in shape. AND I did it! I walked over the Historical part of Phillie, got my pic taken at Betsy Ross's house and at alot of other places. I went to the top of the Statue of Liberty and did the whole Ellis Island that was open to the public.
