Fill Today...

I got it done and it was good.  I got a little bit of a fill and I'm so excited to know that my weight loss will continue on and I'll be to my goal before we know it.  YEAH!!! My visit was great.  I didn't even require a local - that is how good it was. And, I saw some friends from support groups past, as well as met someone new that I'll be seeing before too long at support group. I'm loving live!  I'm loving my band!  I'm loving this weight loss!  AND, I'm loving the new ME! Thank you Jesus! Tonja

Yay for your fill.  I get one next week-my first.  I'm a tough old broad, but you know, the first time is always the worst......eeeek.  Tonja-do you feel the fill?  I don't mean the needle stick, I can cope with that-but do you feel the band tighten?  Is it cold?

Well, the fill isn't cold.  Sometimes I can feel the fill - like the tightness, but for the most part, it takes several days for me to feel the full effect of it. So far, so good.  I'll have a lot of hot drink today to help with any swelling that is going on. I actually had this fill without the local and that just blows me away.  It hurt less than it does with the local - which is minimal anyway.  I was blown away by that.  I was so preoccupied with talking so much that I thought "did he already do the local and I'm so brain dead that I didn't realize - but I didn't get a local and I couldn't even feel the needle.  Crazy - but great! Tiff - I'm looking forward to seeing you again and hearing about your wonderful progress with going to have surgery and all.  It's going to be great. I love you all and I'm so excited for all of you.  It's like one big family with all of us having our similar weight loss surgeries - but living them all together.  It's awesome and I'm so glad that you are all here.  You are all inspiring and a true gift to me.  Thank you all for being here!
